Staff Retreat

Staff gather each year for Staff Retreat, where the First Marshals, Marshals, and Seconds review the past year and set plans for the year ahead. Most major rules decisions are made at the retreat and then announced at the following public event, typically Feb Feast.

A shorter mid-year retreat is held around the midpoint of the year. There staff review any proposed rule changes ahead of their final approval at Staff Retreat, and discuss the status of ongoing workgroup projects.

Staff retreats are closed to the public, though a new player or two may occasionally be invited to attend and offer perspective from outside staff.
