Stars and Wishes

Stars and Wishes are designed to give the Player Outreach & Education workgroup an idea of what you enjoyed during an event and what you would like to see in the future! It uses a slightly modified version of the "Stars and Wishes" feedback method found in the TTRPG Safety Toolkit.

Stars and Wishes can be submitted at any point after an event using this link. Players are awarded 1xp for doing so.

What is a Star?

A Star is something you loved about the event! There are many things you can award a Star for, whether it was a great roleplay moment, a cool prop, a fun combat encounter, or a fellow player who made your weekend special.

What is a Wish?

A Wish is something you would like to see happen at a future event. This could be a brand-new idea, or a request to see more of a specific thing you already enjoyed (perhaps even related to your Star).

Stars and Wishes vs. PELs

This form is not intended to replace Post Event Letters (PELs), particularly when it comes to your Wishes. While Player Outreach will happily pass along any relevant Stars to our GMs, they ask that any Plot-related Wishes you think of while filling out this form be submitted in your PEL instead. The Stars and Wishes form is best for general community feedback, atmosphere, and shout-outs!

Examples of Stars and Wishes

Not sure what to submit? A Star can be awarded for almost anything that brought you joy during an event! Here are some real examples of Stars submitted by our players:

  • "It was very cool that Christina ran the yarn class!"

  • "I had a lot of fun interacting with the new players. Shoutout to Liska for training several new makeup people!"
