Staff Retreat
EveryStaff gather each year staff gathers for what is known as "Staff Retreat".Retreat, Atwhere Staff Retreat the First Marshals, Marshals, and Seconds talk aboutreview the past year and makeset plans for the comingyear year.ahead. Most major rules decisions are made at staffthe retreat and then announced at the nextfollowing public event afterwards,event, typically Feb Feast.
About midway through the year staff will meet for aA shorter mid-year retreat,retreat whereis theyheld coveraround the midpoint of the year. There staff review any proposed rule changes forahead of their final approval at Staff RetreatRetreat, and discuss the status of projectsongoing theworkgroup workgroups are working on.projects.
Staff retreats are closed to the public, though sometimes a new player or two willmay occasionally be invited along in order to helpattend getand offer perspective from someone outside of staff.
