A Player Player-Initiated Plot (PIP) is anhow opportunityyou ask for playerssomething to suggesthappen to you at an event and shape what theykind wouldof likeexperience it is. Players enjoy wildly different things; a PIP is your chance to encountersteer duringtoward anwhat event.you Manylike. different players enjoy many different aspects of the game, and that's a great thing. PIPs are an opportunity to get the thing YOU want out of the game andIt tells the Game Master what stylekind of story youyou're wishafter towithout encounterwriting like drama, comedy, fighting, intrigue, mystery, or problem-solving. They are not an opportunity to write athe plot for yourself.
PIPs are due by the week before each eventevent, and you should only besubmit submittedone if you plan onto attendingattend. that event. - "I want to get into a big fight."
- "My PC wants to meet a brownie who tells bad puns."

The best PIPs explain whatyour your goal is and let the GM write the story,path insteadto ofit, instructingrather thethan GMscripting how you want to get to your goal.there.
Guidelines for PIPs
YouKeep it brief and lead with what you want. Much like a PEL, start with the goal, then add the details. The GMs read a lot of these — if the details come first, they spend the whole PIP trying to figure out what you're actually asking for.- Rare items are
allowedfairtogame. You can writePIPsa PIP seeking outraresomethingitems,scarce,such aslike ritualpaperpaper.orJustanother scarce item.Keep in mind thatknow you may not get exactly what you want, or it may take time.
- If

- There are many active

Start with what it is you want, then include the details.The Game Masters have a lot to read through and saving them time is appreciated. Be clear in what you are asking for. If you put the details first, they spend the entire PIP trying to figure out what it is you actually want.
